Amy attended law school at the University of British Columbia and obtained her LLB in 2006. Amy practiced tax law at Thorsteinssons LLP until 2008. Amy now practices exclusively in the area of family and estate law and has conducted trials and appeared as lead counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia.
Amy has taught and presented papers on topics related to trusts and estate planning for CLE and the Canadian Bar Association. A large part of Amy’s practice is dedicated to drafting family law agreements including marriage and cohabitation agreements to achieve corporate and estate planning objectives. Amy advises clients in estate planning matters including wills, incapacity planning and estate administration. Amy also practices fertility law and assists clients with assisted reproduction agreements.
